My four siblings and I are all happy healthy products of cloth diapering. My mom was always a firm believer in the benefits of cloth diapers, not only for the health of our skin, but for the environment as well. She remained committed to cloth diapering all five of her children despite the occasional fiasco (my older sister accidentally flushed my diaper down the toilet when she was trying to help my mom…twice) . When the joy of our lives, Grace, was being born, I knew that I wanted to show her the same TLC that my mom showed us. It was important to me that I did all that I could to keep my baby girl and the environment that she would be growing up in as healthy as possible. I was also excited to see how the plain white cloth of my diaper-wearing days had evolved to become more colorful, fun and fashionable. When I had the opportunity to own and run my own cloth diapering company, I knew it was a perfect opportunity for me to combine my passion for cloth diapering and my background in textiles and fashion in order to fulfill my mission of bringing cloth diapers to one happy baby’s bottom at a time! |
